We are excited to share ways that we can help you keep your heart healthy with more than fitness center usage and group exercise classes. There is no better time than now to take control of your health outcomes and start thinking smart about your heart!
Our YMCA is a proud deliverer of two chronic disease prevention programs that can truly change your life. Do you have high blood pressure? Our YMCA’s Blood Pressure Self Monitoring program is available to anyone over the age of 18 who has a hypertensive diagnosis. We provide a calibrated monitor you can use at home, check-in regularly with office visits (or telehealth calls) and provide nutrition seminars to help you with nutrition and accountability.
Are you be at-risk for type 2 diabetes? Fill out our Prediabetes Risk Assessment Form in partnership with the CDC. Our YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program is an evidence-based lifestyle change program with proven results. The two components of our program include: increased physical activity and nutritional tracking to help reduce body weight.
