Celebrate & Create Memories at the Y
Not only does the Black Hawk County YMCA serve your fun and fitness needs, but we are also the source for your rental needs. Party packages include a variety of fun activities that will make your child’s birthday one to remember! All birthday parties run 2.5 hours and include time in our pool, gym, and party room. A $50 refundable deposit is required.

- Friday: 6:00 – 8:30 pm
- Saturday: Noon – 2:30 pm & 3 – 5:30 pm*
- Sunday: Noon – 2:30 pm & 3 – 5:30 pm*
- (*Memorial Day through Labor Day the 3-5:30 party times are not available due to summer weekend hours.)

Build your own Birthday Party
1) All rentals include use of our Multi-Purpose Room A for the group gathering portions of the party
2) Choose your activity centers
- Small Pool or Large Pool
- Gymnasium or Kids Gym (in-door jungle gym)
3) Choose any additional add-on’s
Cake & Ice Cream: $30
1/4 sheet cake and 1/2 gallon ice cream
Pizza: $12 per large single topping pizza (a free 2 liter of soda is included with purchase of 2 pizzas)
To book your party:
Visit our YMCA and fill out the rental agreement form at the Welcome Center Desk at least seven days prior to the party date. Payment is due at the time of reservation.
If you need to cancel your party, notification must be received at least 72 hours prior to the start of your party. You will be charged a $25 cancellation fee and will be refunded the remaining amount. Cancellations that are received less than 72 hours prior to the party will result in no refund.
We have a 15 guest limit applies to children attending the party. An additional fee of $3 per guest can be applied for parties over 15.
We provide basic disposable plates, napkins and silverware; however, you are welcome to bring in your own themed supplies for your party if you choose.
All guests must stay together as a group. For example: if the participants are in the pool area, we ask that all adults and youth be in the pool area. The same rules apply to the gymnasium as well as the ‘Party Room’.
