History
We became a branch of the Family YMCA of Black Hawk County in 2003 through a partnership with Grundy Center School District. As a result, our fitness center was located in our local high school from 2003-2016. In 2016, we wanted to improve our accessibility with a more convenient location for community members. A new facility became possible because of our partnership with Grundy County Memorial Hospital. Now we can ensure increased hours of operation, better parking, improved access, and a facility we get to call our own!
