CPR | AED | First Aid

The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program helps participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person (adult, child or infant) and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Certification is valid for two years from the certification date.

Lifeguard Certification

The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatics emergencies. This includes land & water rescue skills as well as first aid and CPR.

Upcoming Dates

June 15-17 | Must attend all classes to pass.

Friday, June 15 (4:00-8:00 pm)
Saturday, June 16 (8:00 am-8:00 pm)
Sunday, June 17 (8:00 am-8:00 pm)

Prerequisites

  • Must be 15 years old on or before the last scheduled session of the course
  • Must successfully complete the prerequisite skills evaluation on first day of class: 300 yard swim, tread water for 2 minutes (using legs only), retrieve 10 lb brick from six-feet of water or deeper

Lifeguard Re-Certification

Must possess and provide proof of a current lifeguard certification to enroll in re-certification class.

Date: We do not have any current Lifeguard Re-Certification classes.

Cost: $100.00

  • Current lifeguard certification. If your certification is more than 30 days past the expiration date, you will be required to take the full lifeguard course.
  • Must successfully complete the prerequisite skills evaluation on first day of class: 300 yard swim, tread water for 2 minutes (using legs only), retrieve 10 lb brick from six-feet of water or deeper
