CPR | AED | FIRST AID

The purpose of the American Red Cross Community CPR/AED course is to teach the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies. This includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to care for a victim experiencing cardiac arrest. First Aid is also included as a component of this course. Certification is valid for 2 years.

LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION

The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatics emergencies. This includes land & water rescue skills as well as first aid and CPR.

Upcoming Dates

April 20-22 | Must attend all classes to pass.

Friday, April 20 (4:00-8:00 PM)
Saturday, April 21 (8:00 AM-8:00 PM)
Sunday, April 22 (8:00 AM-8:00 PM)

Prerequisites

  • Must be 15 years old on or before the last scheduled session of the course
  • Must successfully complete the prerequisite skills evaluation on first day of class: 300 yard swim, tread water for 2 minutes (using legs only), retrieve 10 lb brick from six-feet of water or deeper

Cost: $150.00

LIFEGUARD RE-CERTIFICATION

Must possess and provide proof of a current lifeguard certification to enroll in re-certification class.

Date: Saturday, April 7 | 8:00 AM-8:00 PM

*Register by April 6th at 9:00 PM

  • Current lifeguard certification. If your certification is more than 30 days past the expiration date, you will be required to take the full lifeguard course.
